Easy Halloween lighting I'm doing right now!

Ohhhhhhhh spoookkkyyyyy! 

I found this idea and instantly fell in LOVE! 

Can you see these scattered through the yard or lining the walk way? 

All you need is

• Jar
• Water
• Glow Sticks
• Scissors

You can find jars like these at vintage stores and good will for just cents
They also sell brand new ones at Michaels Craft Store for a little more. You can also find the Glow sticks there for a $1

• Take your Jar preferably with a lid and fill with water
• CAREFULLY cut open the Glow Stick and pour it into the water. 

Wa-la!  Its fast, its chic, its spooky, its PERFECT!
You can even decorate the jars as monsters and other creepy crawly things!
I think I'll put some eye balls inside mine or insects!

August 1st I got the most fabulous book in the mail.

Earlier that week I was asked to do a fellow hairstylist hair for her wedding and I was having a bit of a problem with thinking of something to do with her short angled bob cut so I turned to the past for inspiration.

I searched forever for books and read so many reviews just to be disappointed overtime...UNTIL I stumbled across this bad boy.

My own Halloween horror story

This is my own Halloween Horror Story.......

complete with monsters, victims, 

and 

the lone survivor at the end

I am the survivor, the survivor at the end of the movie that gets away..but it doesn't feel like I've gotten away.

Not a day goes by without the same story running through my mind.

A monster came along and took my best friend. Not just any best friend, my other half, that person you can't imagine living without...that indescribably person in your life.
That indescribable person is no longer at my side in the journey we were taking together.
I am the person at the end of the movie, the movie that never ends in their head.
The feeling of a heavy heart that never goes away.
It hurts...........
It runs through my mind every night.
In my dreams.
It plays in my head all the time.


This year, this year was different. I did not have that feeling of weakness, I had anger. Anger because it could of all been prevented.........



Every photo I see, every laughter I hear, every wedding I attend, every party I go too there is angry, there is a heavy broken heart, there is sadness, sadness behind eyes I try to make look happy.

Sometimes I catch myself looking just a second to long at others. Wanting what they have.  Holding back tears because that person isn't there to have a moment like that. To stand by my side when I get married. To laugh at years gone by. To see my first born. To be there when I'm old and gray, old and gray like it was promised. All these promises gone, gone in a blink of an eye when it all didn't have to happen this way.

I'm afraid of things that go bump in the night...and day
I'm afraid to get close to others
I'm always comparing
I'm always running away

I have a story inside my story that many don't know about. The wounds are deep. Wounds that won't heel.
When the leaves change and the cool air comes, my mind wonders. It wonders away to the most horrific events in my life all wrapped up in one month, in one year.

In five days I will be standing outside my parents house like I always done. Praying, crying, wishing for the rain to stop. Rain that comes every year. Just for a second so I can give you my present.
So I can send my letter to you tied neatly on balloons. A letter just like we used to give each other every day.

In two day I'll be making the same wish  I make every year. The only wish that ever matters to me. That wish every year you have somehow shown me. Days after your death my mother told me not to waste a wish.
I'm so happy I didn't waste my wish for that year.
You showed up like you promised. A promise that never leaves my mind.
The promise of always being there no matter how far away we were.
Every year I wish again and again............

 My love is undying for you

My love is indescribable for you

My love, you are my everything

QUESTION~
What are some quick and easy hairstyles and makeup ideas for people like me who have like ADD and get too bored or frustrated after like 20 minutes on


I get it, your fingers aren't doing the image you have in your head. It can be frustrating and time consuming especially when you don't have anything in mind to begin with...

Here are a couple hair styles that you probably already do just need a little tweaking to turn them chic instead of well, a hot mess -------->

Good for almost any length and thickness is the

MESSY SIDE BUN.

My personal favorite. It can be dressed up or dressed down and always chic.The messier the better with this one. You can do it weither your hair is straight or curly.

Start off with LOW pony tail or a low bun

Take the hanging pieces and pin them up. 

Don't be perfect.

All pieces or ends are not to be pinned. This will give the sexy messy look.

You can do a part like I have or have it slicked back with pieces hanging around your face.

You can either pull just the sides up and pin in the back 

or

Just remember

Please use bobby pins and not one of these 

to secure your hair up

Changing up the sides

Twist the sides of your hair

Or braid the side

Don't worry if you can't french braid it looks just as pretty with a regular braid then tucking the end of the braid under your hair

  Accessories

Accessories are a girls best friend. 

 Flowers- if you don't see them in stores that you like you can go to Michael's craft store or Hobby Lobby and make your own

All you need to do is cut the stem leaving 4 inches (may very) at the end and pin in place.

Make up

 Change up your eyeshadow color.
Find out what eyeshadow smoke pattern looks best on you and then change around the colors.
For my shape the best for me is doing a white or nude base then taking another color or multi colors on the outer corner of my eyes and smoking into the creases like this

 

If you're lucky you can get away with doing multi colors on your lid

Where the base isn't a natural color.

Unfortunately it looks awesome when I personally have it on my eyes but as a whole doesn't look so good on me

 Eyes take you took long?
 Play with your lips and throw some mascara on
You'll look polished and ready to go out with little effort.

Take some pride in yourself girls, women, people!
Stop being sloppy, stop being trashy
and keep all those at home if you find it necessary to dress like this




 See, these women are dressed down and comfortable. Throw on a cute t-shirt, jeans and pretty flats. 
So women, start loving your body the way it is 
and 
when you go out take pride in yourself. 
We're all beautiful in our own ways but your beauty isn't accentuate by wearing sexy on your booty or letting every body part hang out

From victoria secret: I got a gift card for anything I wanted! Being a Angel Member REALLY pays off! You really save a ton!
Going in I knew what I was going to buy, Love Spell. It takes me back to wonderful memories every time it's in the air. My best friend, Cindy Storms, was never without her Love Spell since the day I met her. Whenever I need her I spray a little in the air and it feels like we're together again.

Sephora had my free gift behind the counter. I was so excited to get my little black and white stripped bag! Inside I got Birthday Cake Bath gel and bubble bath (geezzeee how did you know Birthday Cake smell was my favorite!?)
Then with points that I kept on racking up I got Laura Mercier Primer and my very first Kat Von D lipstick in Homegirl.

 Seee, Seeee!!!! ^ I couldn't wait to put it on! I just love deep dark purpley reds.

 I will say the only time crazy eyebrows or no eyebrows should be done is in a photo shoot ------------------->
Look how it makes the photo! BUT I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!!!!! Let the make up artist do his or her make up magic to create no brows. Don't go shaving them off.

 So your stuck now.......I feel for you, I really do but you still have HOPE!

fundamentals of eyebrows

Your brow should being around your tear duct

the arch point at your pupil

Then end of your brow at the end of your eye

You can take your brush or pencil the first time and make dots like this if you need too
Now that you know where your brows should be fill them in your natural brow with eyeshadow. Its more natural then a pencil.

Take a angled brush like this one and find a brown shadow (browns suit more people) or black (like what I use)

Oh no natural brows to work with or they are super thin?
